I am one class short from obtaining my bachelor's, I need to fulfill my internship requirement. If I am applying for a city and county position that requires a bachelor's degree, will they be considerate of my situation and allow me to fulfill an internship requirment by working with them? Should I put it on my resume that I walked during commencement ceremony this past June but still need this one course? Or wait after my interview and hopefully after getting the position to tell them? Thank you for your help! =)

Depends. Where it asks for degree, put down Bachelors, and the expected date you will receive it. Be honest up front. Best of luck.

To be quite honest, most employers won't even bother to consider your resume if it doesn't fulfill the requirements listed on the job offer. When the job listing says that it requires a bachelor's degree, it means you must have a bachelor's degree. Usually, the secretary or assistant will sort out the resumes and toss out the ones that don't conform.

Government jobs usually have very regimented guidelines that they must stick to. If they require a degree for a certain position and you do not have one they will usually screen your application out before you have a chance to explain your situation.

Be honest. State it like you did here. Usually their ads will say something like "or equivalent work experience in a related field". Good luck!
