escort diesel on biofuel?

i want to run my trbo diesel on 70%diesel 30% veg oil but told i cant as i have a lucas pump and need a bosch one, is this true? is anyone out there with a escort running on oil?

The Lucas pump is not rated to pump the heavier viscosity of bio diesel However at your 70/30 mix the viscosity issue should be minimized. If you try to use the Lucas pump, you may have pump failure, especially as the weather cools down.
