I think that if your theory is correct, it doesn't explain the emotional response of the radical muslim community in general. It doesn't explain why the Iraquis are trying Saddam. It doesn't explain the willingness of the average American to go along with the scheme.

In short, your missing ingredient, is the actions of the terrorists. Also missing is the corroboration of some other people saying the same thing as you (meaning, the Iraqis).

I like your response. Perhaps a stretch to this level of conspiracy theory, but certainly plausable. A smarter man would have seen the resultant outcome... but not our guy.

Certainly, the US has lost this war on a number of fronts. Not militarily, but politically and financially.

WOW!!!! Well written and it makes total sense. I never looked at it in that much depth, but WOW! I wish more people would read your answer, and maybe it would dawn on them too. Well done, and I learned something today.

Still kind of frustrated that with this all being brought to light that nothing is being done about it.
