dont go anywhere south of the southern suburbs of phoenix(gilbert, chandler, etc.) unless u want a taste of mexico without actually going there. Phoenix is high in the 90s right now, should start to go down pretty soon, hopefully. Depending on what you like, the Phoenix and surrounding areas each have something different to offer. Tempe is the whole college scene: downtown phoenix has the baseball stadium, the usairways arena (where the suns play), all sorts of different things; u can find a golf course anywhere, hiking within the city, there are lakes u can go boating ; if u want to go up north, i recommend visiting sedona, but better to visit it in the summer when u can go to slide rock in oak creek canyon; flagstaff has the sunset crater (volcano) and the meteor crater those are pretty neat, lots of camping up there; of course there is the grand canyon and the hoover dam. any place north of phoenix has nice cool weather. now that its getting cooler, the air isnt so thick from the pollution so thats a plus right now. i think arizona is an ok place but i would rather live somewhere else. have afun time visiting.

I lived in Arizona four years.

What is it like in Arizona?

There was the hot dry desert ... the irrigated fields

And there are mountains in Northern Arizona which supposedly have a bit of snow remains year round.

Altitude ... altitude ... altitude

One time years ago we went for a drive ... near the foot of Yarnell hill the cattle were laying under the shade trees, up the hill, at Prescott (the mile-high city) snow was piled on both sides of the streets and down the middle of the streets ... piled higher than the cars.

Beautiful and dry and HOT. But cooler at nights. Many areas in Arizona are up-and-coming, so there are lots of nice shopping centers, restaurants and bars in areas like the suburbs of Phoenix. Arizona has lately been one of the booming housing markets. It's nice! Have fun.

It's a spread-out place and most people drive here. There are not many high-rises here, except in the downtown area. The buildings in the other areas are all kind of low storey. There is a lot of wide open space and just plain bare land. The streets here run north, south, east and west. It is just hot for 3 months of the year and the rest of the year it is cooler. There are many jobs here and the people here are also kind of laid-back, warm, and nice ...

he's incorrect. The regulation in particular forbids " racial profiling" so his argument is without advantage. What federal regulation is an officer being forced to break? all the regulation does is say that interior sight police could seek for to enforce federal regulation that exist already. in case you rob a financial employer , you're breaking a federal regulation. nevertheless , it rather is going to likely be the interior sight police that respond to purpose and stop you. Why is this distinctive ?

Depends what part of the state you visit and what time of the year. Summer northern AZ is hot, southern AZ is really hot. In the winter northern AZ is cold, southern AZ is warm. It's pretty dry all year long.

What part of Arizona? We have everything from sand dunes to alpine forests...and almost every kind of landscape imaginable, short of glaciers.
