I am a general contractor and I would like to network with some NYC architects and interior designers, and maybe even real estate people willing to work together with a general contractor for commissions. what would be the good way to meet these people?Thank You

Architecture week is happening soon in NYC. I think there's going to be a show. Maybe you could get involved in it or even gain entry. Not exactly sure how it works, but here's the website.

Go directly to their office and ask to meet with them to promote your business in person. That leaves the best impression, and they can put a face with a name next time they hear about you.
