I have. They wil take it back repair or replace depending on the tech behind the counter. They took mine back and gave me a new one, told them the power cord was not charging and there was a small blur in the corner of the screen. Very easy and hassle free just go to one of their stores. I did get talked into an extended warranty so watch out.

If you bought it from circuit city or best buy they should have the record of you purchase. But if you didn't get the warranty with it they will say we have to send back to manufacturer for repair. Your best bet is buying a cheap MP3 player unless you like watching movies on it. The I-pod is nice but big. I like the Sony walkman it has little screen and its real small they also sell the sony bean which is sweet. So if all you like is music to listen to, why carry something so big around.

Unless you stole it, they can look up your receipt right there in the store. If it is physically damaged, it is useless to return it because it would be deemed "user abuse". If you didn't get extended coverage on it, your screwed because the manufacturer's warranty covers jack...

confident. yet they seem at it and besides the fact that if its rather scratched or ruined in any way your not incredibly saving plenty. they'd bypass out of employer in the event that they did that with each ipod, and everyone wouldl finally end up doing it!
