its the new advert for marks and spencers-it features a song called glass of champagne by a band from the 70s called sailor-the advert features 60s model twiggy and also mick jaggers daughter elizabeth-there seems to be a campaign going on on answers to get the single released again-i have no idea why because i was around the first time it was released and it sucked then-so now with the tastes in music having changed so much i cant really understand why it would be popular now-although i suppose it could get back in the charts as a novelty record or something.the band sailor also released a song in the 70s called girls girls girls-which is still one of my all time pet hates cos its so unbelievably cheesy and plain bad-dont worry yourself about it-its really not worth your time!!

Everybody's asking about it because it's a refreshing change to hear some good music as opposed to the samey regurgitated tripe that's in the charts at the moment. They say everything comes round again. The sooner the better.

It's "Glass of Champagne" by Sailor. It was a big hit in December 1975, getting to number 2 in the UK chart. You can still get it on various compilation albums, e.g. Sailor's Greatest Hits.

Everyone's asking about it because a) it's a cool tune and b) they thought it was Roxy Music but couldn't find it in their extensive RM collection (as I did).
