Sad that you ask for WIT in such a serious category, although even the deepest of philosophers must have enjoyed a chuckle on occasion.

I live in a very real world, and with no offense meant, I do not know what your wold is like.

In my world Hypothetical is a useless expense of energy and time. Crafting a hypothetical, into a reality, isn't.

"I wish" "What if" "Do you suppose" "Could we" are examples of frivolity, and unless one creates a way to realize a reality of a "what if" then they are spending far too much time, in using that essence most precious,,,"TIME"

Without hypocritical situations, there would be no world.

Oops... without hypothetical situations, the world would be very two dimensional and empty. There would be no art, no invention, no calculations even... we would all graze in fields, die during droughts and drown during floods.

It would be quite peaceful, though. But we'd smell quite bad.

I would hypothesize that if you ask a hypothetical question, you get a hypothetical answer.
