Asked yesterday "how old are you?" as I am 53, and was wondering if there was anyone older using the site as it seemed more of a young persons' place. Lo and behold today I get a Yahoo code violation! Somebody must have thought I was trying to use Answers as a chatroom I suppose. Hey ho........ and thankyou to the 52 people who took the trouble to answer. There was only one older by the way (54 I think).

I'd say it was a sign of the times. Mainly because the baby boomers are getting older, and what not. There are more around than of any other age group.

things not cool to ask

location
sex
age
high school (goes to location)
time zones (same)

basically anything that could be used to locate in real life someone else.

better question is "how old are the people here, guesses only?"
with qualification added as comments

if you check the community guidlines you're not allowed to ask questions like that. I think its to make sure no-one gives out personal info like passwords, etc, by mistake!
