It has been eaten from what I was told by an older man that his mother took carp cleaned them. Took the meat off the bone soaked it in salt water over night in fridge. Then battered it and fried it he said from what he could remember it was good he ate is as a young boy and is not 84 so it did not kill him. Carp out of clean water might be good I know I am going to give it a try just to see.

Lemon sauce goes with most fish real well. Have not had carp though, but I will take your word for it.

No, I haven't. But I eat other fish, and I like it fried. But lemon is a no-no unless it isn't really noticeable.

Carp are garbage fish. They eat things in the water that other fish won't eat.

Just last night actually and it is tasty! These guys made some special spicy tartar sauce it was good.
