If you want to stop, you can.
Make that decision. If you know on forehand in what situations you will scream, you can be in time stopping it.
It's a choice you make.
You are changing a habit, so don't expect you to be instantly cured. But if you break the pattern by recognizing it on time, it will be easier every time and then comes the point you just don't do it anymore. Then you have created a new habit, or pattern. Reacting without screaming.

How about learning some self control? Screaming is definitely NOT the way to get respect. You CAN control it and I suggest you start now. Get over yourself.

move out as soon as you can, otherwise it will become a habit, I have gone thorough the same thing times 3, because I have three younger sisters. Good Luck!
