Untrue ...... It was just a large bird walking about in the background that gave the impression of someone hanging .. It was the part where scarecrow and Dorothy meeting the tin man .

No. They had live birds walking around the set for that seen. One of them with really long wings started flying around. That's what you see in the background. It kind of looks like a body dangling, but it's not.

NO!, but in the backround of the movie, the part with the Tin man you can see a man whom -accidentally- hung himself. its pretty sad. i saw a tribute to him on TV some odd number of years ago. :)

Yes if you watch the part in the movie , where they meet the loin. Look where the trees are in the back round and you'll see him.
