I've heard from lots of people online that you can get 100% free ringtones from Limewire Basic. Can someone who has done this please give me step-by-step instructions on how to accomplish this? I have a Motorola Razr with Verizon if it matters.......Thanks!!

If you have any mp3, wma, or wav files on your computer, you can use Phone Sherpa's ringtone maker to convert your music into a custom ringtone:

They format it for your phone model then send it to you wirelessly. Its very easy to do. Phone Sherpa also has a wallpaper maker that formats any jpg or gif to your exact phone screen size.

I havent heard of this, but either way, you are going to need to hook up your phone to your PC in order to save the ringtone. If you already know how to hoop up your phone to your PC then why use limewire? you can skip limewire and make your own ringtones. All you need is WinAmp and an MP3 converter. I would write down the whole process but its loooong. just google "make your own ringtones"

You need to purchase a USB cord (about $25.00), and then download myjal appolo this will take the ring tone and put it on your phone. Or you can go to Nextpimp and I believe it is a lot easier to use.
