First rule is never open an email if you do not know where it originates from. There are far to many virus's and spam mail out there. If you reply you confirm you have a valid address and they will send you more spam (junk mail) then you ever will want.
Go into your mailbox if necessary and set up filters to catch some of it. If at any time you feel that you are receiving harassment or offensive mail report it to the site where your mailbox is. Good luck!

You might have went on a site and entered e-mail address, is the most likely place for folks to get your address.
My rule of thumb is if I don't know the person and/or business, I delete it or send it to spam.

Unfortunately you are a spam victim. Get an e-mail program like Thunderbird and activate its spam-filter to relieve you from irritating e-mails like this. Like previous answers stated, never reply or open these e-mails.
Download Thunderbird here:

Thunderbird install guide:

How to enable the spam filter:

I hope this will help.

The ones with no subject is to get your curosity up and open it. Opening the email will return a receipt to the sender confirming your email address. You will now start getting spam from him and others he sells your address to.
