We r moving to Texas... wooo hooo..lol
and I was wondering what kind of winter do they get? I luv snow but I am thinkin thats not happening out there..lol
does anyone know? I may have to take a trip this winter..lol

IT is unlikely below Austin. I'm from Dallas area, VERY HOTHOT !!!! May snow and ice in winter.Doesn't stay long. The wind is the coldest ,but if not for the wind ,you couldn't stand to go out in the summers. The pan handle,and far west does get much more snow and ice.
The reason I left TX. was because,of the unbearable heat.I like to be outside in the summer,times other than the middle of the night,if you're lucky then.

Texas is a huge state and it really matters where exactly you are moving...in Houston and Galveston they rarely get snow but it is possible...Farther north like by Dallas there is a more likley chance you will see snow. Out farther west you will not, it is more desert there...

I went to med school in texas, nope...no snow. Expect a winter thaths similar to late fall, early spring up north.
