The skin on my hips is darker than the rest of my body.It is also not smooth (like goose pimples) can someone please help on how to improve the complexion and skin texture of my butt

Seriously, do this...
Rub olive oil mixed with salt (table or epsom) like an exfoliant over the area.
Use any kind of good veggie oil if you don't have olive. (like grapeseed or even coconut oil)
Do it in the shower because it's messy.
Repeat once every 5-10 days.
Will help with the smoothness, but not the coloration. Nothing can help that but a skin lightener, and even then it takes a long time!

I don't know about the darker colour, but it's probably due to dead skin.

So, you need to scrub twice a week. Any scrub product should be fine. You might just as well scrub the whole body at the same time, including your back.

Then, you HAVE to apply a lotion (any body cream), otherwise, you'll have pimples (or something like that).

You should see a difference in a while.

Use St.Ives Apricot Scrub. Use it in the shower about 2 times a week. It exfoliates away dead skin cells which make your skin appear dull and rough.

Try exfoliating with body scrub and a loofah or something and using a really good lotion! No cheap knock-offs!!! I hate cheap knock-offs!!!!!!!

Try using a pumice stone. it should help. It could also be genetic.

it you can get a prescription, then get ZORAK. it gets ride of those spots!
