Every album sounds the same. What do you think?

Bon Jovi is a rip-off of Def Leppard, plain and simple. Those opening vocals of "You Give Love A Bad Name" ("Shot through the heart, and you're to blame..) is the most blatant example of trying to sound like the boys from Sheffield. Def Leppard pioneered the big backing vocal sound; everyone else just copied them. But you know what they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I'll give credit where credit is due, though. Bon Jovi as a band has a couple good songs (Livin On a Prayer, and the aformentioned "You Give Love A Bad Name.")Overall I'd say Bon Jovi the band and Bon Jovi the guy are overrated.

I being a fan, do not really feel that all of their albums sound alike.
If that was the case, they would not have lasted as long as they have.
That would be a question that I would have about rap music. It seems that each song is the same, talks about the same thing, has the same beat and the same unintelligible lyrics. I have no desire to even have it on anywhere near me at all.
Country, which is also a favorite of mine, can also be construed to sound the same, but it really isn't
Maybe the meaning of the songs are similar, but each song has it's own special sound, chorus and beat.
If they were all the same, how would we be able to tell by the 2nd or 3rd beat what the song is?

I think Bon Jovi has a great talent for knowing exactly what their fans want. How else do you explain the hugely sucessful tours? Besides, how many of the other 80's hair metal bands have the kind of sustained sucess that Bon Jovi has had?

He must be.. It takes talent just to be in the industry. Even Paris Hilton is talented because she is good at what she does and makes money. so who can say she isnt.
