I am getting married in a week and want to get a pedicure. I have heard that they hurt! What do you all think? Does it hurt and if so, is it worth it?

Congratulations! We're in the same boat, I'm getting married this weekend so I went to get a manicure and pedicure, too. You just have to go to someone who knows what they're doing. Ask around for recommendations. Pedicures shouldn't hurt unless you have existing foot conditions. The only other times you might feel some discomfort are when the pedicurist clips away dead cuticles (you shouldn't feel this at all unless they accidentally clip skin), and uses a pumice stone or something similar to slough away rough dead skin on the heel. But afterwards they give you a foot massage and it feels great!
Pedicures are definitely worth it! Just go somewhere that has a good reputation. Congrats again!

First of all, congratulations! Second, pedicures are great! They're not painful, they just tickle a little, but only during one part. Mostly, they're relaxing and make you feel so pampered and special. Definitely go for it-just make sure you go to a reputable professional. Ask your friends and family-I'm sure someone will be able to point you to a really good one.

Pedicures have a very bad name.
They will only hurt you if they are hungry.

Keep them well fed (they eat a lot of nails) and keep their claws trimmed.

Some people go as far as having their horns cut off but it isn't necessary.
Simply put corks on the tips.

Whatever you do, never teach them to speak.
They will tell everyone you have smelly feet.

It really depends on if you go to a professional. They know what they are doing. If your feet are old and crusty then you might have a problem. but since your getting married go through with and make you spouse happy and you will feel sexy.

No they do not hurt. Any if they do then the person doing it for you isn't doing it the right way. They are so worth it.

No they do not hurt unless the person doing it is hella rough - I would say they are a great investment.
