I took a peek at the other questions you've asked, and Margaret, I think you must not like Americans! Why are you being so rude to thousands and thousands of people you have never met? You seem to be assuming many things that you don't know are true; things that might be considered stereotyping.

Did you read your question back to yourself before you posted it? What does that mean? It's a non sequitur. Besides, the US doesn't import much of its oil from the mid-east. Most of the oil imported comes from Canada and Mexico. If we import from Iraq it's a gift.
