When I get home from work should I start reading the whole DMV handbook instead of doing activities at home durring the night?
Do you read the book the next night without doing activities at home?

I think you should more STUDY this book and not READ it. Study it like you would for a test... You don't just sit down and read 4 chapters in a text book then your done and going to make a A. Read little bit of the book, see if you understand what it is talking about. Review that info in your head until you understand it then move on.

By the way - this test is not very hard if you have watched the road while riding with your parents your whole life.

If you mean like cramming for a test, then there will be no guarantees of the outcome on that one.
Read thru and then review items thru out the book as often as possible before the test, for this will keep things refreshed in your mind.
Back when I took the test, many of the exact same sentences were on the written test - just like from the book.
But things you think they would not ask - they do and vice versa....study!
Now I understand it is all done on computer but am sure with the same theory in mind.....that what you relate from the book is what you drive by.....no skim by.

No, the main questions will pertain to the color of the curbs, sign shapes, and speed limits in certain zones. They have several test that they pass out on any given day. As your friends or co-workers to share their test sheet with you after they have taken their dmv test. DMV will tear off the corner of the test, but they will give you the test if you do not pass.
Relax, and you will do fine.

I plan ahead and read little bits of it, so I understand it, then read the whole thing as an overview
