I know a lot of people of that time in Eurape were (mainly because they knew no better) but it would be very interesting to put the thing to bed. (Please quote source)

Interesting question. I've read several books on Beethoven's life and found no mention of antisemitism in relation to Beethoven. As you say there was a lot of antisemitism in Europe at the time. Beethoven seems to have been very influenced by the principles of the Enlightenment. He was baptised a Catholic but said his art was his god. He also seems at some point to have developed an interest in Hinduism.

Oh please where did you get this one from?? of course not, being German doesnt make you an anti-semite...
and please dont even mention Wagner either ..because way too many things were said about him because he was proud of being German? because The Fuhrer liked his works and operas turned Wagner into an anti-semite ... what a crock of sh*t...

I have no idea what you are are talking about. He was a musician of the highest caliber, & you can hardly spell!
He is dead & his music lives, enjoy it if you can, & get on with life!
