I have worked at the same dealership for 10 yrs and we sell Dodge and Chevrolet. If you are looking for a truck to work then you will want the Dodge. It is made to work and work hard. It does not have the ride or comfort of the Chevrolet. If you are looking for a good comfortable ride and good fuel economy then the Chevy is what you want. The Chevrolet is also going to hold its value more that Dodge or Ford. This comes from my experience. I personally own a C1500 crew cab Z71 and I love it. It can get me there in style or it can get me there dirty. I would take this truck anywhere. It looks good, rides good, and has performed off road better than any other truck I have owned.

I'm sorry but, the first thing I must do here is LAUGH at JETTALADY. She said: "none of them go for a honda or niesson frontier they last longer and have no problems "...hahahahaha. They have no problems. Right. lol. Anyway, I don't know why everybody keeps asking these questions. None overall better than the other. Ford sells the most, which would lead one to believe they are better, but it all comes down to what you want. They are all excellent vehicles. I prefer Ford, because it suits MY NEEDS better. That case isn't so for everyone else.

It is truly a shame that so many people just start ranting "chevy" or "dodge" or wtf ever. Those are the people that you shouldn't listen to because their just making stupid remarks. I could just shout out "FORD" and I could sit here all day long and give you facts as to why Ford is "better" than the others, then you could turn around and tell my why dodge is "better." It's just senseless. Drive them. Look up some stats, then get what suits you best.

I prefer a Chevy Silverado. I've had a GMC Sonoma, Mitsubishi and 2 Silverados. I like the ride of the Silverado. But I don't like the Colorado...underpowered. Put alot of maintenance $$ in the GMC and Mits...none on the Silverados. (other than oil changes). Don't know much about the Dodge, except I like the looks, and I'm just not a Ford person.

Chevy Trucks by name are the most popular.
Yet Ford and Dodge are coming out with revolutionary designs that make me do a double take. They are nice.

Toyota builds a superior truck. All statistical evidence as to durability proves it. The american 3 probably have similarly poor quality vehicles. Gm probably makes the best of them, but that's not much to brag about.

BTW this is a stupid question. It's been asked and answered about every day since the Dodge brothers started their own Mfg. and sold their stock in Ford.

I've always liked Chevrolet but I own a Ford Ranger right now. It's only a 4 cylinder but it has plenty of power for me.I get about 30 mpg unless i'm doing some heavy hauling. I have no complaints with my truck.
