outlook express is my default mail but i want to change it to yahoo.do you need yahoo plus ? i have tryed changing the settings in internet options and in the start menu properties. it only gives me a choice of outlook or hotmail

You don't need Yahoo! Mail Plus to make Yahoo! Mail your default email. If Yahoo! Mail isn't listed in Internet Options as a choice for default email follow the directions below.
This is what you need to do to make Yahoo! Mail your default email application. Follow the directions below and it will solve your problem.
Using Internet Explorer just click "Continue" on the link below to download a small 60K file that will enable Yahoo! Mail to be the default email application for your computer. Whenever you click on an email address on any web page or in any computer program, Yahoo! Mail will open for you in a new window.
If Internet Explorer displays a yellow security bar at the top, click on it and select Install ActiveX Control from the menu.
If a security warning comes up with Yahoo! Inc. as the publisher, click Install.
Now you can click on an email address anywhere and your computer will automatically open up Yahoo! Mail for you.
You can even send documents directly from Word, Excel, or other Windows applications.

Go to Yahoo then go to the top of your page and bring down the menue that says tools look for internet options at the top of that page it will say address and in that box put
http://www. yahoo.com hit apply and that should do it.
