I have a theory about ghosts that says what we are looking at is not the person dying over and over, but it's a window into a moment in time. I'd do it to see if it's possible to communicate with the person. Maybe they'd think we're the ghosts.

yes, actually, i would....as long as any would-be ghosts aren't violent. I have never lived in such a house before, but my sister-in-law has and said that not a lot of things happened except for a blood stain coming back over and over and something didn't like a man sleeping on the couch and would keep waking him up by speaking to him or rolling him off the couch.
I would have to just to see what would happen. I have been around nice ghosts before, it is pretty cool. Great question!

Once before I was born, my uncle lived in an apartment that an old couple was murdered. At the time both my uncle and my mother didn't know this, because the guy who rented him the apartment kept silent about this. My uncle was perfectly fine in it but my mother noticed that every time she visited my uncle, she was extremely uncomfortable in that place. But nothing scary happened. So I guess it depends on what kind of person you are. But still I don't think so I willingly live in a place that someone has been murdered

I did live in a house where someone had been murdered. My parents old house and the house I live in for 10 years (which I believe was haunted), a couple lived there in the 50s where a husband raped and murdered his two young daughters before turning the gun on himself

No I don't think so.The scene of such a violent crime would probably still have some left over negative energy hanging around in the air.And even if it didn't ,I'd know what happened there and would probably be creeped out at every little noise.

Well, yeah, but they'd have to clean up the mess first. And I wouldn't pay a deposit for blood stains and knife holes!

PS Ashley, unless you live in a brand new house-something icky has happened in it. Even in new houses, a worker could have fallen to his death. Get over it. Boo!

Actually, that would CONVINCE me to move right in! I love a house with an interesting - even murderous - past. Great conversation starter!

i grew up in a house on an old burial ground, talk about spiritual energy, some good some bad, on top of the burial grounds a house was built that my parents ended up buying, after they had moved us in my sisters and I kept seeing a man that was 50ish, his name was jeff, my oldest sister could talk to him, he was the original owner of the house, his wife had killed him in a jealous rage in the very room that was our bedroom. he ended up getting stuck between spaces and even though my father tore the house down 3 years ago and put in a mobile home jeff is still there. my 4 year old talks to him. it depends on you how the ghosts respond to your presence in there space. if you ever get to experiece the gift of seeing the dead "LISTEN TO THEM THEY HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY" and remember they can and WILL feed off of your fear and negitivity.
