Please stay away from payday loans. They will drain you completely dry financially. If you absolutely HAVE to get one, do everything you can to just pay it back (usually due in two weeks) and just walk away.
As bad a payday loans are, I would think getting one online is even worse. There are so many ways to get credit card/checking accounts hacked into these days. I had my debit card # hacked into about a year ago. I didn't lose or misplace the card - it was hacked into online.
If you need to get a payday loan, the safest way is to just walk into one and do it in person. Then, pay if off when it's due and walk away.
