You are correct, that horrible event was the cause of the fall of the Towers, not some governmental implosion. The men (for lack of a better/more appropriate word) trained for years to 1) know how to fly commercial planes, 2) know exactly where to hit the towers in-order to cause the most destruction and 3) how to turn off any human emotion so that they would not be discovered until they wanted to be. These people made practice runs and went on those planes with the desire to change every aspect of our lives, from how we lived to how we think. That is what terrorism is about. You will be hard pressed if ever to find anyone in a terrorist organization that will be willing to sit across the table from anyone and present their case. You will never be able to change the minds of people that find it easier to blame a government then to look inward and see where the true problems lie.

No. Don't need the websites to tell me that, but I'm glad sensible people are contributing to correcting the stupid and/or gullible people with conspiracy theories.

DEP - They used thermite to demolish what was left of the building structure during clean-up (I watched it on TV). But that's a moot point. The guy (Steven Jones) who claimed there was thermite never tested (or even touched) any metal from the WTC. No tests performed by any metallurgist ever found thermite. Nor is he a metallurgist (He's a physicist at BYU) His conclusions were drawn entirely from observations of video tapes of the towers falling, where he judged the color of smoke and debris he could see on video as caused by thermite. There is no credible report claiming the presence of thermite, just a guy trying to sell a book.

Dep, my question is, "What was thermite doing there in the first place? Thermite is used only to cut through massive thick amounts of steel. Take a look at the provided link and you will see what thermite does, as seen on the top of one of what was one of the main support columns behind the fireman's head at the base of the WTC wreckage

For the towers to fall from the weight and fire, it would have taken over a minute each for them to reach ground level. They fell in a little over 9 seconds which means they were imploded from the bottom up and the result was a free fall building. The people here that are calling you a moron should study physics and realize it is impossible for those towers just to fall down. They are all morons to believe our government wasn't involved.

They collapsed when the heat from the fires worked through the insulation surrounding the steel framing and heated it to the point where it lost strength. Anybody who has seen a blacksmith adjusting the fit of a horseshoe understands how it works.

Yes. The fact WTC7 collapsed in the SAME MANNER as WTC1 & 2, despite NO airliner impacts, makes this clear.

WTC7 was destroyed because the operation to crash the planes was run from Giuliani's "emergency operations center" in WTC7.

The towers fell because 2 big *** planes filled with gas and oil crashed into them. whether it went from top to bottom or bottom to top or inside to out or outside to in they fell and it was tragic for first the families and then for America themselves.
