The Bridge is a few miles north of Edinburgh and the the
Forth Road Bridge goes from Edinburgh to the Bridge,
which, by the way, is not for cars, only trains.

It's not in Edinburgh but connects Fife to Edinburgh. The bridge may be closing in the future and another built further down the Firth of Forth.

Hi there. Not sure why you would want to avoid the Forth bridge, it is free going that way and what a view! You can go via Falkirk, but heading past Stirling to Glasgow then zipping straight up the motorway to Edinburgh will be a bit quicker. Good luck, Steve.
