Of course you can have friends of the opposite sex! I have many and there are no sexual issues at all! Be honest with your spouse and include him or her in your friendship. Don't hide anything!

It depends what you mean by "entertain" but yes you can be best friends with the opposite sex providing that your friendship is out in the open to both your partners and no secret meetings for "explicit fun" words used loose as I am not sure this friendship is JUST a friendship from the way you have worded it Sounds like your relationship is in trouble if you need this entertainment!

in my opinion, most certainly. Why would the gender of your best friend be a problem?
I work in a predominately male environment & on some of my nights out i'm the only female 'with the lads'. We share things just as i would when i'm out with my girl friends.
I often get a valuable point of view from my best friend because he can give me a different point of view as the opposite sex. No sex involved often gives a clearer point of view anyway!!
Good luck.

Yes, but it can cause problems. Especially since you "decided to exclude love-making." To me that says you like them as more than just as a friend.

I hope so because i have just got married and have some very close females friends who i have no intention of keeping away from. I would not refer to it as a relationship though because that's sounds a little person. Friendship is fine.

iffy, but not impossible.
if yor husbands not ok with it, it aint gonna work. Also when you say you've decided to exclude love making, that seems to imply that you would like too, and if you spend enough time together sooner or later you will.
This usually only works if the friendhip goes back further than the relationship.

I think so, I am a female who loves football and cars, my Husband has no interest in football, so as most females don't either, I have to chat to like minded guys. Sometimes you need a male viewpoint.

Don't know anyone who can stand that. Pretty tough to have such friends without opening urself to trouble but they do exist.

I think you two can enjoy eachothers company to an extent..if you two get to close it can and will lead to curruption...like going somewhere alone with her..always have someone else there.
