i have an opinion, i think Osama bin Laden is only a character, created by US goverment, like a decoy..whom appeared as a muslim and admitted to be the leader for 9/11 attack. that's why he has never been found..so US have reasons to attack Afghanistan and Iraq and also tarnishing muslim's image as the terrorist..

now, they made up stories to end it all by spreading news that Osama was dead. is this might be? what do you think.

I think Osama exists but I think after 9/11 some of the tapes alledged to be him have been fabricated. I think at one point a look alike was used in at least one of the tapes. Someone may be producing tapes and audio to make Osama look like a badder dude than he actually is. Sure, he is the leader of a terrorist organization that uses small arms and explosives but could they really do everything that was doen on 9/11 without some help. and maybe some of the 9/11 destruction was done in order to get the US public on the war bandwagon, and Osama was blamed for it all.

OBL is no straw man. He was very active in Afghanistan.

It seems that that the report in the French news paper indicating typhoid may have killed OBL, was not substantiated. In order to fulfill the role of the mahdi (divinely guided one) of Islamic eschatologic prophecy, he must escape death. OBL is not dead, yet.

I think that Osama is in Qom, Iran, the same place as Iran's Supreme's Leader Sayyid Ali Khamenei. Remember Osama wants to bridge the gap between Sunni and Shia. The US has some control over the Musharraf government in Pakistan but not over Iran. That makes Iran the safest place for Osama. Qom and Mashad have important Muslim shrines so they are the safest cities in Iran for Osama. The Wali al Asr was hidden at Masjid Jamkaran in Qom. It would be the perfect place for Osama.

Even if the US or its allies take military action against the underground nuclear research facility at Natanz, the heavy water nuclear facility at Arak and the nuclear power plant at Bushehr, there will be no attack against the holy shrines in Qom and Mashad.

Interesting theory-wouldn't put it past them. But I think 9/11 was created to go after the oil and make this Administration rich since we can't account for billions of dollars spent in Iraq with nothing to show for it. And all of the no-bid contracts that went to Halliburton.

I don't believe Bin Laden is dead b/c the Muslim terrorists would be in an uproar and all heck would break loose.

Since Britain settled Afghanistan and divided Iraq and Afghanistan for oil, I think they should bear some responsibility in this whole thing, too.

This whole "war on terror" and "terrorism" thing is getting boring. They need to re-name it to add interest.

Osama is real,,, he is the worlds #1 enemy, the terrorist mastermind behind the attacks on 9-11,, he continues to train Taliban forces in Pakistan on the Afghanistan border,, our government has allowed him to escape responsibility for the carnage he has created by invading Iraq based on lies, and create a battleground there, although Saddam had nothing to do with 9-11,, Bush was asleep at the switch on 9-11, and now wants Americans to believe in his belief that war is the way to win peace in the Middle East.

Osama Bin Laden is merely a front used by the U.S. government in order to cover up what's REALLY going on!...

It's NOT about a "war on terror" or "fighting for freedom".
And here's what's REALLY going on with 911!...

i understand what u mean, there are many things we may not know esp. it is classified by the govts as secret files. but somehow i do believe that osama is independent of anybody control. ppl always say we look at situations based on the fruits they bear. there are so many terrorists and events and i don't think it is like what u said. i do marvel his willingness to prepare and wait for 10 yrs? (if i didn't read wrongly) to execute 911. take care.

Hmmm, James Bond, very innovative! Very possible what we have been seeing is a doppelganger. And I somehow believe bin Laden or the doppelganger is somewhere in Texas, USA!

Oh, Osama was created by the U.S. alright, to fight the Russians, the same way they created Saddam to fight the Iranians.
These guys weren't following directions.

All could make sense until that thing at the end.
I think he is real, he is more of a scapegoat though. And they DONT WANT TO END IT ALL. I wouldnt be suprised if they wait til just before the midterms to announce they killed or captured him though. And gas definitely wont be high just before midterms
