I've been using Lancome's Adaptive foundation and Photogenic pressed powder for about two years now and I love them! I'm Irish, so my skin is very fair and tends to get red easily. Lancome is the first company that's had a foundation that was as light as I need it. And it does a wonderful job at looking like I'm wearing nothing, but minimizing the redness. I also have a tendency to get oily in the T zone and the powder cuts down on the shininess, also looking like I'm wearing nothing. I don't break out with this makeup and it seems to last all day for me. I'd recommend Lancome to anyone.

I used to be a Makeup Artist with "Shesido" cosmetics. I would go around to the various fine department stores to do both Make-overs and also analyze the customers skin using a sophisticated high-powered microscope. I would ask the customers what products they were using . I was able to compare the different effects various products had on their skin, which was either beneficial to the condition of the skin or if the products harmed the skin. In the results I found by using the microscope were that the customers that used "Lancome" always have the best skin on and below the surface.

lancome is nice, but kinda pricy. i actually like foundation from Make Up For Ever (they sell it at some sephora's). but either way most department store powders and stuff are gonna be like $40+ anyways :). good luck!

Lancome is made by l'oreal. Some of their products are made by loreal. But I dont think you should buy from either brand - they test on animals! Try revlon. Cheaper and better :)

Its okay. I mean, i think the best is benefit & MAC. Chanel is okay too. Go for Clinique. www.sephora.com. Their foundations will give you all the info on the finishes.
