I bought mine from a dealer on EBay. He lived in Hawaii. To grow from a cutting you must have a pot, water, root stimulator, sand, and a stake. Fill the pot 2/3 full make an indent with your fist in the center. Fill this area with sand. I believe you cut a bit of more off of the cutting then put it straight into water and then dip it in the root stimulator. Fill the rest of the pot full of soil. Then stake the plant to help the roots form. Make sure the soil allows for good drainage, it is necessary or the roots will rot. Also keep some Fungicide handy in case your plant does start to get root rot. If not taken care of right away it will kill the plant. Water a large cutting with about one cup of water once a week. Make sure you do not over water them or they will die.

If you see one somewhere, and are able to get a cutting they are very easy to root.
Here in Barbados we cut quite large branches - to get a bigger plant faster - and after allowing the cut to dry over, stick it in the gound or in a pot and keep moist. rarely do they even droop.
