Your telling a friend or family member about a new product you have seen or heard about and before you can explain how much you like it they interupt and tell you how bad it is?

yeah but if the product works for u dont worry about what they say as long as it works for you.
except for certain products that they may have more experience with. and tell them to let u finish next time

Tell them they need to practise their active listening skills. People who listen learn, people who speak only repeat what they know.

Yep - definitely annoying and rude for them to interrupt. But it's important that you listen to what they have to say and then express your opinion. Don't let their rudeness stifle your opinion!
