they are actually broken capilaries under the skin you can conceal them with a under-eye concealer which you can purchase at your local dept store in Canada we have a brand called physican's formula that i purchase at wal-mart that i love its a more higher end product for wal-brands.Another one we have is Vita-K also can be purchased at wal-mart that works well its a serum. Otherwise consult with a spa salon for pro treatments that can reduce the appearance. good luck!

i have terrible dark circles and they really make me upset. I just bought Hylexin, it's supposed to be great, but unfortunately I can't use it because I'm a nursing mother. I have this other vitamin K stuff but I don't see that it works, but I keep trying. I also have a yellow concealer, it counteracts the blue in the skin and makes them look as good as possible...good luck!

When using concealer its best to go with greens believe it or not. Also, to help with them cool cucumbers on the eyes 20 min a night will greatly improve your skin tone. Oh yeah...the one I have a problem with, plenty of rest.

St. Ives cucumber gel is amazing. it makes you feel so relaxed and cools the area around your eyes and is just so refreshing. Usually dark circles means you need more sleep, better eating habits (make sure you are taking multi-vitamins and drinking plenty of water) and less stress! de-stressify!

Cover Girl concealer. Those circles are with you for life.

I asked my dermatologist about the latest products being touted for this, and he said they do not work.

I would say Replenishing Cream:
Try this site:
www.bpandya.qbeautyzone.com
Will give you the details as follows;

Like eight hours of sleep in a tube, this light and silky creme dramatically reduces the appearance of puffiness and fine lines in 24 hours. It also reduces the appearance of dark circles by 29% in 16 weeks. Citrus bioflavonoids fortify the delicate skin around the eyes, while linseed, licorice extracts, and echinacea soothe and refresh.

Thanks.

Tea bags. Put them over your eyes. Make sure they are wet and warm, not hot. and make sure not to use flavored ones, i made that mistake and my eyes were burning so bad. lol. Just use regular green tea or chamimile.
