I had been in Government service 9 years before, it's truth that you don't have to work hard to get promoted. There is a "advice" given by those senior' "it's not how much you know your work, or whose are the people you know, but it's whose know you that matter".

It's time you learn the true ABCs of working life, it's something your teachers didn't teach you but they secretly applied it at work themselves.
A - A*ss kissing
B - Boot licking
C - Curry favouring
I learnt my ABCs from my senior colleagues...actually they didn't teach me. I merely observed them! I have old and mouldy colleagues who sit around doing NOTHING except boss the juniors around. But when their own bosses arrive, guess who's the first to get their old butts off the chair to brew coffee for the boss??
