Why anyone wants to spend all that money on new clothes and do stuff to them to make them look old is beyond me. Just go to a vintage shop and get the same clothes that already are worn and aged and pay a lot less. Simple!!!

not sure about other stuff but with jeans take a new pair and rub with a light sand paper to give the worn through look , or use a sharp blade (like a stanley) and slash threw do not cut off the white thread hanging loose it adds to the affect. Lastly it you want the frayed look at the bottoms cut anlong the part thats hemmed and use a needle to un pick the stitching have fun

It depends on the item, for one thing. To make worn spots (on jeans or around the edges of a shirt collar or hem) or even small holes, use sandpaper. You could also use a razor blade to wear down areas on jeans (but be careful - I'm not recommending this). Bleach will make bleach spots (surprise). You can also check out the website below for recommendations on how to make something look more faded (leaving it in the sun, slightly bleaching it, etc). Check out the websites of companies like A&F, American Eagle, etc. to get ideas on how exactly you want it to look.
Hope that helps!

Take em back and go to a second hand shop or look on ebay for 'ready worn' clothes, other people have done the hard work for you then!

Washing them in bleach is good, but also get a fine grit sandpaper and just rub the areas that you want to look 'worn'. Strategical splattered pure bleach/motor oil spots are in as well. Go figure.....

Don't spend your money on new clothes and then destroy them! Just buy second hand at a charity/thrift shop. Save a few quid and spend it all on drink and drugs and women.
Silly person.
Too much money, not enough common sense...........

Attach them to the rear bumper of your car with a length of cord for a week. Flip them over daily.

I buy jeans too long and trim off the cuffs to let them fray. It's a cute look!
