To name but a few artists, at our age it shouldn't be about what's popular, it should be about what you like, and only you know that

I feel that anyone over 13 should have the right to listen to anything. It's not the music that pollutes kids it other things in their surroundings. Music shouldn't have a age group you listen to what you choose to. So many people try to classify music by race and age and that is not how it should be. So try listening to some pop, rap, country, you know every type. Then whatever sticks out to you, its what you should listen to.

I am nearly 27, but I will never admit it!!!-anyway I listen to SOOO many different genres, with the exception of death metal I just can't get into it. I am a big fan of strong melodies and a good beat, and I love well written MEANINGFUL lyrics. I enjoy alot of 60's 70's rock and folk, I like alot of country from all different decades, I like hip-hop and R&B, not just anything I am a fan of rappers like Common and Nas. John LEgend IS MY FAVE right know. I like the new Earthy kind of indie bands (think Greys Anatomy soundtrack). Not big into the Pop/one hit wonders but I will admit that I have liked a Brittany song here or there and Kelly Clarkson can sing her butt off. I like late 80's punk and pop.

I listen to Alternative, a bit of Adult Contemporary, or Crossover Pops. Whatever turns me on. Right now I listen to:
James Blunt, Daniel Powter, John Meyer, Alanis Morrisette, Sarah Maclachlan(sp), Nora Jones, The Dixie Chicks...stuff like that. Easy boring stuff.

I'm 27....I listen to all genres of music, however, I don't listen to today's top 40...I can't stand today's music. I listen to a lot of light rock.

It doesn't matter if you're 70 and bobbin ur head to 50 cent. I don't think age should matter to what you listen too, listen to what you like. Older people like older music, because they grew up listening too it, and as they got older they stopped following trends. So just listen to what you like
