Some people are too easyily offended. You have a right to speak freely about anything, especially food that tastes like puke.

Yeah puke always sounds bad and makes things seem worst than what they are. Just say you didn't think it tasted good or there was something missing that you couldn't figure out.

Well....Hello! Yes, it would be an insult! Try either, helping her with useful insight on what to do better, not insulting her...that will not help her in the long run! Give her helpful suggestions or show her how to do it.

It is a little insulting.
You could say, "right now, it doesn't taste good to me, but thank you for all of your hard work in preparing the meal."

yea if refering to the taste of the meal then its not good to say it tastes like puke .......but you can say wow what a wondeful meal it tastes so great ,its too bad I have to go puke or I would love to eat more ..........

its only an insult if you tell her that, next time just tell her its great and say that you just ate before you got there if she asks why you didnt eat alot
