How do you put off an adult who constantly imitates you?
When someone copies you like a photocopy machine....what do you do!...everywhere you go you have a duplicate following you!
Also why do you think they do it??
Sorry... couldn't resist!

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but it's still annoying. I suggest you deal with it and just ignore it. Avoid giving the person positive attention. Eventually they will get bored with it, as they realise it doesn't pay off in the long-run. I suggest you try and take it as what it is: flattery... think that this person must really like you. It doesn't mean you have to like them. I gaurantee as you push them away, they will push you away. It doesn't mean you have to be mean or anything, just don't give them the attention they are seeking. I gaurantee they are trying to be friends with you. If you make them realise there is no chance of that happening while they copy you, they will stop.

All I know is that, a doctors stethoscope was invented to look like a snake worn in the neck by Lord Siva, and to meet Lord Siva in physical form you had to walk like a cow on all fours.. That is why God made Cows and four legged animals to IMITATE Lord Siva, that is Lord Siva was MORE POWERFUL than God was. So God imitated earthly animals and birds with the magic word, IS

Also, the "Vel" of Lord Muruga was created from a penis, so he really must have had quite a long long penis or the Vel must have been created to create attraction with the look and feel of a long penis...

They do it to tease you a bit, if you want to defuse it all, just pretend you're not seeing or hearing that they're doing this. In the long run, you won't see it anymore. That type of person can make you very self-conscious. Don't give them a chance to make a fool out of you & just IGNORE them! Good luck :)

imitation is the highest form of flattery? or something like that
in all fairness that does sound very annoying...are they doing it in a jokey way? or are they copying your style...if it is the first just tell them they are being annoying and childish...if its the second, and they are copying what you wear (for example), then tell them in advance that you are planning on wearing something outrageously silly...and then see if they copy in advance...basically humiliation is the key

Perhaps cut back on the medication.....
Seriously, you mean to say that someone at your work follows you around all day long, every day? Are you training someone? And if not, tell them to get the hell away from you and leave you alone. Sheesh!

they would like a friend. Possibly they're way too immature to realize this is a bad way of doing just that. Either physically prevent them from doing this again, verbally, or get the law involved.
