I only feel this way when I'm upset or I'm PMS-ing lol! Its all I can get the energy to do.....to just stay awake....let alone change my circumstances.

I get that way too. I call it depression. I sleep for awhile and then get up and face my problem and conquer it. The sleep helps, but don't fall into a rut. Something in the mind triggers it. It's mental/emotional fatigue you're experiencing. It always passes, but make the best of it.

Sounds to me like that's your way of defending what you deem to be the harsh realities of your life.

Try coffee or other safe agents to keep you awake for starters. But more importantly, find out what you're naturally wishing you didn't have to do.

Maybe like some housewives, you don't like being cooped up at home with the kids. If such is the case, get a babysitter and go out and do something else like join a charity or something. Find something you can enjoy that will keep you from having to focus too much on the "dreariness" of your current life.

Over sleeping could be a sign of emotional distress and the bodies defense mechanism against it. Patients who suffer from depression and displaced emotions tend to over or under sleep. Perhaps you should speak with your doctor about this and find out why your reaction to everything is to sleep.

Sounds like your body's way of avoiding things that trouble you. People who are depressed often sleep a lot too. During sleep, you don't have to worry about or face your issues.

And by the way...another way to look at it...sucking is a good thing, so when things are bad, they audit (audits are rarely good things). LOL!
