Not a huge fan of either but if I had to chose between the two, I'd go with Tye...Jaycee looks and sounds like a girls name. Good luck with baby!!!

Jaycee is cute, but the spelling is not for a boy. Tye is better for a boy. And a name doesn't get you respect so your choices are fine. If like it I love it, I guess that means I am ghetto!

Tyler or just Tye?

In either case Jaycee looks like a girls name. Maybe J. C. , or Jason, but definitely not Jaycee

I think that I like Tye better. Jaycee is too femmy for a boy. I would say that Jayce is a great name though. Have you ever thought of that.

Tye

I'm not too fond of either. A TYE is chain or rope, where one end passes through the mast, and the other end is attached to a tackle, so the ship's yard is hoisted or lowered. I don't think I'd want my kid named after a piece of rope.

A "Jaycee" is the name of a member of a civic group for young business and community leaders. It's a little club-thing for highschool kids.

I personally like names like Robert, James, Jason, Daniel....
