Loved Diablo II and the Lord of Destruction expansion, but haven't seen anything like it in a loong time. Not interested in massively multiplayer -- just single player. Recommendations appreciated.

i'd also recomend the Neverwinter Nights sequence. both the first one and the second one one are large. they have different astounding tale-strains i have considered. i have not been contained in the community for this yet, yet from what i have considered that is reliable. After that Oblivion, Mass effect, Assassins Creed, fantasy and perchance Bio-wonder. all of them have reliable tale-strains. lots of the game by Bethesda should be reliable RPG's. even as WoW is an incredible recreation it isn't an RPG. particular it truly is termed a Massivley Multiplayer on-line function playing recreation, yet i'd in no way call it an RPG. It has no plot, nor any personality progression. do not say i'm a WoW hater, its a reliable recreation, even though it isn't an RPG.

You might want to try the Baldur's Gate series and Icewind Dale.

There's this rather old game called Torment. It's just perfect, pity it doesn't work properly on my system.

There's another one, a bit newer, called Revenant. Not bad.
