I live in Canada and I want to buy rims off eBay from the US. The total cost for the set with shipping to Canada is $1445.44. The same rims in Canada cost $4000.00 Everytime I buy something from eBay, UPS charges me a Brokerage C.O.D. fee. Is there a way to avoid that fee? If I have the package delivered to a local UPS store and I pick up the product myself, will the C.O.D. fee be avoided?

You'll just end up paying the duty, and there may be a heck of a lot of Border crap, the brokerage saves all that. I hate dealing with UPS and border clearance I call it Unsatisfactory Parcel service because without a broker there's always problem at Customs.
