I guess it would depend where you live. But at 58 you still have a lot of mileage. What is your area of work? That would also have to do with it. Why don't you continue your studies. A classmate of mine is 58 and he is studying his Masters in education.

this isn't the position for you. you could spell and use the shift key, for instance. study 1/2 a dozen different posts. maximum are from 12 - 22 3 hundred and sixty 5 days olds who can not spell and do not problem to capitalize. i'd be mendacity if I reported your probability is reliable. At your age you're searching at adult men 5 - 15 years older than you, and there are 2-3 situations as many unmarried women human beings on your age bracket as unmarried adult men. connect a church, political agency, hiking club or health club; take a evening classification or volunteer for something. you could meet someone. no matter if you do not, you've relaxing. (no longer as a lot relaxing as a 7-day honeymoon cruise, yet better than sitting at abode watching re-runs.) save your morals extreme; the reliable adult men will appreciate you and that is going to reveal screen out the undesirable ones rapidly. I truly have considered love flower in human beings contained in the fall of their years at my church and contained in the Sierra club. It would not hapen daily, even though it takes position. best of success!

I wouldn't think so. I would think a person of that age would have many marketable job skills. All you have to do to be exceptional in the modern work force is show up on time, dressed appropriately for the work. That should put you head and shoulders over the competition from 20 somethings that can't make it on time or the imigrants who can't speak English.

a lot of employers want younger help. they are easier to train, will work for much less and be happy they have the job (with or with out benefits) i suggest you try lowering your standards and do what it takes to be gainfully employed, that may mean working for less than you are accustomed, but it is better than nothing. i know that as an older individual you come to expect better wages and benefits than the young, but in today's society you will be left behind if you don't except less. you take what you can and then keep placing applications for what you want.
