There's a lot of good people/actors out there you get bad publicity. I think Jude is an extraordiary actor......I think maybe some of his personal life choices are looked down upon by the public, then again their are a lot of people who become cynical towards others because of jealousy.

People usually tend to confuse hate in some cases with envy. He has had the misfortune to be blessed with a very photogenic face (and the British accent doesn't hurt either, specially here across the pond...see Love Actually) and that has allowed him to makes loads of money. Then he managed to go through a very public marriage, breakup and divorce, an affair with a nanny and a relationship with a very attention-seeking actress (Sienna Miller). I would say the hate is misplaced envy coupled with overexposure which turns people off. My only issue with him is he started out as a good actor, I thought, and then took so many roles that made him seem mediocre. Okay, need to go now, way too much thought on this trivial a subject...LOL Hope this helps...

Because he wants to have all the upside of a succesful acting career like the good looking girlfriend the parties (group sex with the neighbours anyone?) and aclaim but acts like a spoilt brat who thinks it's ok to lash out at journalists/photographers who want to snap him and talk about him when he's been caught shagging about.

i doubt people hate him that much, i think people just don't give a crap like you do. but if they do have ill feelings toward him, it's probably due to the fact that he's a cheating scoundrel. i like the guy. but he had a good thing, he shouldn't have cheated, i would so not take a guy like that back!
