I think that, had Senna still been alive, I do not think that Schumacher would have any records. Senna was too good a driver - and for those who say that he died because of a mistake he made, I watched a programme which said that following the pace car for a number of laps lowered the temperature of the tyres, which reduced their pressure and lowered them. This caused him to bottom out, breaking the 'suction' that kept him attached to the road.
So, basically, I do not believe Schumi would have any records - Senna would hold them all! And I am sorry if you are a Schumi fan!

I think Senna would have exposed Schumacher as a complete cheat. Schumacher would be so frustrated and resort to his cheating style just to keep up with Schumacher. Senna would only have had a few more years of competitive racing though due to his age.
-To answer your question I think both would make each other better and be hated rivals. The sport would definitely have more fans with Senna around in the late 90s.

Probably not all of them. Ayrton Senna was 34 when he was killed and he may have raced for four or five more years, so it's difficult to speculate on what might have happened during those years and, of course it would depend on which team he was with. The 1994 season didn't start off too well for him (no points in the first two races), but, had he lived, there would be poles, wins and, I'm sure another driving title. Damon Hill, in a Williams, amassed 91 points and Williams won the constructors' title in 1994.
Certainly I believe Michael Schumacher wouldn't have surpassed his record for pole positions.

Sal G. Shut up you prick, Senna made cheating and unsporting driving into an art form long before Schumacher became known for it.
No, he wouldnt have had all the records to himself but I think we are only talking of 2 titles at the most. The racing would have been more fun possibly.
If only Steffan Bellof hadn't been killed as well. Now that would have been something..

No, because Senna died at 34 and, if he hadn't had the accident, he would have probably retired before the 1997 season. And if MS would have been beaten in 1994 and 1995, he would have gone a different way and he wouldn't have won more than 2 or 3 WDC's.

no it's impossible, because Senna was already in his 30s when he dies, there is no way he could have done that. Schumy is one of the greatest F1 drivers of all time and no doubt about it. although Senna was legend as well.
