I did acutally marry someone who was "high maintenance". I knew it going into it. I thought that I was superman and a knight in shining armor. I loved the idea of caring for her and meeting her every whim and demand. I thought that I had the patience of a chopping block. I thought that the relationship would be fufilling to me becuse I am giver. Little did I realize that she was a taker and after having taken everything I had (money, my dignity, my self respect) we divorced. All I have to say is that I smartened up quick.

Not only no, but hell no. No amount or quality of sex is worth a high maintenance person. If you are really in love with each other, then things will just click and there won't be anything such as high maintenance.

It depends on what you mean by high maintenance. If it is financially, such as a man who always needs newer and better toys or always wants to do things above our means, then NO. If by high maintenance you mean someone who was more "needy" than others, such as needing to know he was number one in my life then yes. Maybe because I am fairly high maintenance in that area also.

Yes because it is not that bad they just enjoy different things. Personally my mother and grandmother are and I am used to people with that trait. Makes no difference to me if they are a good person inside.
