consistancy in service by all members of the staff, prompt greeting upon entering the restaurant (even if just to say I will be right with you, Consitancy in the food and daily specials (if you have them). As the owner or manager make sure you have plenty of people on staff so that it amy free you up to go around the tables and talk personally with the customers. If you ask them and listen to their requests, you should never have too many problems.

Well the primary attribute of good customer service in a restaurant is making a connection with the customer. When you first go to the table introduce yourself, look the people in the eyes, and honestly ask them if they have any questions (or if they've ever been there before, or how their day has been, or something.) The key here is to ask a question and to respond back to their response.

Make the people feel special, they are not going out to get attitude from a server.

Good coustomer service starts at the door with being greeted promtly and having a very friendly host/hostess. Then you waitress should be kind and courtious. She should be doing her best to make sure that you are getting everything that you need and ask for. Your food should be delivered in a timley fashion and should be hot and correct. Then upon leaving you should be thanked and asked how everything was so that you have a chance to dispute anything that you felt was not taken care of or that made you unhappy.

you want to first look at their attitude...when they first approach the table with their greeting ask yourself "are they friendly" "do they look upset"....than after the order is taken and u get ur food.....how long did it take them to check back with you....does she/he keep your drinks filled.....how well did she/he know the menu.....can they answer your question without an attitude
