Hmmm... My guess is maybe you have a snake living under the rug in the gas pedal area. When you step on the gas, you also step on the snake...

If the noise is coming from the engine, this could be due to "spark knock", or detonation. This will occur if you're using fuel with an octane rating lower than the manufacturer's recommendations. It could also be the result of worn spark plugs, or a dirty air filter. In any case, it's a situation that needs to addressed rather quickly, by a qualified, competent mechanic. Internal engine damage could result if allowed to continue.

chances are you have a loose heat shield somewhere on your exhaust pipe. they are very tinny and corrode and rattle when they become loose. have someone get under the vehicle with a rubber mallot (hammer) and strike the pipes. if this is what is wrong t should rattle.. as long as the rattle is not over the convertor you usually can remove the rusted shield since it is no good anyway. if over convertor you should TRY to reattch with a large metal hose clamp. it also could be your convertor insides beaking apart and rattling but this usually causes performance problems.

The noise is proabaly caused by the Catalytic Converter. You are getting exaust backed up through your system. Its not cheap to fix by replacing it, but not overly expensive either. Take your automobile to a garage and have it checked and they will tell you if it is the converter. Make sure you take it somewhere they will not rip you off though. Good luck.

It does sound like a warmth guard rattle. elementary fix is vehicle chilly, and reclamp the warmth guard with vast screw form hose clamps, or cord twisted tight. difficult to weld with the aid of distinctive steel, yet could be migged often. sturdy success
