I think that everyone should be\are actually, because you are not able to do anything without thinking also about yorself and yourself in consideration with others (always knowing what you want, like,..). Yes, we are also altruistic but I mean in basis we are all narcissists. Aren`t we?

Well I didn't mean actually in such way that we (as human beings) are being just egocentric and nothing else. I do as others like to help people and I don't even consider myself as a self-centred person (it is quite socially impossible to live an egocentric life) but if you think deeply by helping others we are actually satisfying our need to help others...
...just to think about.

Your using a term for extreme I love me cases, so don't think we are all narcissist. But strongly believe in rest of your point. Like to think of it as humanistic pragmatism. Believe we all act for self pleasure, and key is to cultivate people that find pleasure in helping others. Not saying a saints, but more along the line of do something nice for someone day.

Well, it depends.
It's healthy to have a good self-image and think of yourself. That kind of egocentricity where you believe you have value is a excellent thing.
However, some people can be incredibly egocentric to the point of annoyance while others think so lowly of themselves, it's amazing! And the best part is both these conditions are reactions to the SAME THING, low self-esteem.
In that light, I'm afraid we're not all narcissists. And thank goodness, because over-egocentricity is in itself an irony then.

No, the ego is that thing that keeps you safe. Not a good thing because by kepping safe we do not go out onthat first date, helecopter flying or taking that incredible job around the world. the ego is an automatic like your heart beating, you don't think it. We are in fact in ego mode lik a computer always think we are separet but unfact connected. It figures out how to work things out, but then is captive in your own mind. When you are stuck, that's a blind spot ; and it deals with what it know and what it does not. Ther is 10% of what you know, 10% of what you know you don't know, and 80% you don't klnow you don't know it. That is okay because you don't need to know everything because if we did then what the heck are we doing here we would know everything God knows right? So no I do not believe all of us out there are narcissists.
cheers

Everyone is. It's only human. Maybe not all the time, but we all do it sometimes.

i think everyone is, and if they say they're not, they're either lying, or not human.
