mine was making paper-mache easter eggs with balloons in kindergarten. ahh. those were the good old days. =]

I was 3 and playing in a sand box. I found an empty coffee can and tilted it up to see what was in it when, a BUNCH of ants fell out on me. The whole neighborhood could hear my screams!...lol. I still remember it vividly.

My first day of kindergarten. There was a lady standing at the door and she spelled my middle name wrong. I told her that my middle name was spelled AnnE not Ann. I stretched out the e and said it really loud. I remember being put in the only reading group in kindergarten too.

I didn't attend kindergarten so 1st year was 1st grade. I remember my mom telling me after school one day that my teacher died in child birth and wouldn't be returning. So next day we were divided up and placed in new class room with new teacher. Talk about traumatic experience. Wow, I just remembered that. I think that explains everything.

On very first day teacher asked me - what is your name ? since I was afraid to give answer in a class room packed with 35 student I just pushed the girl sitting by my side and said - she is asking something to you get up and reply but the trick did not materialized and I was caught and punished on first day.I will never forget this in my Life.

Making potato paintings. The teacher had cut designs into a potato half. We dipped it in paint and stamped it on paper. The beginning of creative arts for me.

Large families were allowed in the 1940's in Ireland to send their young children to school from the age of 4. On my first day, I saw the boys and girls mucking about outside and inside the toilets, so I crapped myself and ran all the way home.................. I can clearly remember it.............
